I'll sum up an honest first-hand review along with the location, menu prices, the different tuna cuts and my tasting notes. Tuna Cuts & Course Lineup — A Full Spread in Photos

The appeal of tuna sashimi lies in the totally different texture and flavor of each cut. Even from the same fish, comparing lean akami, melt-in-the-mouth belly (otoro and chutoro) and chewy collar within one course is a real treat.

Otoro (Fatty Belly) — Marbling That Melts in Your Mouth

The most popular cut is, of course, the otoro (fatty belly). Thanks to its fine marbling, it melts on the tongue, and a touch of fresh wasabi with shredded radish cuts through the richness cleanly. The cut with crisp grain and a pink hue, like in the photo, is the star.

💎 Key Points:
Tuna sashimi is best eaten lean-meat-then-belly. Starting with the light lean meat and moving to the fatty belly keeps your palate fresh to the end. Wrapping it in seaweed or eating it with shredded radish makes it even cleaner.

Banchan & Side Dishes

It's not just tuna sashimi — the banchan and side dishes are generous . Steamed egg, gimbap, grilled fish, pickled radish and a roe rice bowl come along, perfect for cleansing the palate between bites of sashimi. They pair well with a drink too.

Tasting Review — Honestly

I went for the lunch set. For this much tuna at around 20,000 KRW, I was more than satisfied. Each cut has a distinctly different texture, so it's fun to compare on one plate, and with the hearty banchan it's a complete meal. The dinner course is clearly more dramatic in presentation, so I'd recommend an evening visit for special occasions.

💡 TIP: Lunch is value, dinner is presentation and course. Choose your time by purpose. For team dinners or hosting, go evening + course; for solo or a light lunch, the sashimi rice bowl (14,000 KRW)or Standard Set (23,000 KRW)are safe choices.
