What is the bus stop?

You Never Walk Alone Album Jacket Filming Site

BTS Bus Stopis from BTS's full album WINGS's external album You Never Walk Alone is the location where the jacket photo was shot. Located at 8-39 Hyangho-ri, Jumunjin-eup, Gangneung-si, Gangwon, on Hyangho Beach. The interesting part is that this BTS Bus StopA film set, not an actual operating bus stopwas a film set. After filming wrapped, word spread naturally and it was preserved as is, becoming today's tourist landmark. Now it has settled in as a must-visit K-pop holy site for ARMYs from Korea, Japan, China, the U.S., and Europe visiting Gangneung.

Why “Purple” is the Symbol of the bus stop

When you visit BTS Bus Stop itself plus surrounding roads and benches are all Purpleyou'll see them painted. This purple is BTS's official color, started by member started from a single line he left. “Purple means trusting each other and loving each other for a long time. Just like that meaning, I hope we can see each other for a long time.”— this remark became the start of the fandom “Borahae” culture.

💎 Key Points:
It's a fake bus stop, but BTS fandom's “Borahae” sentiment is fully embedded — even non-K-pop fans take a second look once they know the meaning.
