Hi everyone, this is Hayley. Today I visited the most famous cafe in the Gimpo and Paju area — Dirty Trunk. We went there to celebrate the New Year with my in-laws and decided to stop by together. The cafe is famously known for pulling in a whopping 600 million KRW in monthly revenue, so I was really excited even before going.
An honest review of Dirty Trunk — Paju large cafe with high ceilings, three round windows, plant-filled interior, perfect for family and large group gatherings — menu, prices, signature drinks, and amenities— all wrapped up in one post.

Store Introduction — Paju Plant Cafe with Cozy Yellow Lighting
Dirty Trunk has a really striking soaring ceiling and three round windowsatmosphere. Lush green plants are everywhere, and combined with the warm yellow lighting, it feels cozy and comforting. There are so many green plants that you could honestly call it a plant cafe.
The 1st floor is fairly quiet, while most people are on the 2nd floor. Seating is spacious and accommodates large groups, so it's a great spot to come with family. There are plenty of seating areas that can easily fit 10 people.

Menu Categories — Cafe, Brunch, Bakery, and Meals All in One
At Dirty Trunk you can get coffee, brunch, bakery, and full meals — all in one place. Burgers, spaghetti, pizza, sandwiches, tacos, salads, stews — you can handle everything here. They also serve plenty of indulgent (calorie-bomb) drinks alongside regular coffees, and the bakery selection is huge: pastries, cream buns, salt bread, sausage bread, cakes.
| Categories | Signature Menu | Price Range |
|---|---|---|
| Coffee & Drinks | Americano, Dirty Black Latte, signature drinks | 6,000 ~ 9,000 KRW |
| Signature | Dirty Black Latte, White Berry Cream Yogurt | 8,000 ~ 12,000 KRW |
| Bakery | Pastries, cream bread, salt bread, sausage bread, cakes | 3,000 ~ 8,000 KRW |
| Meals & Brunch | Burgers, spaghetti, pizza, sandwiches, tacos, salads, stews | 10,000 KRW and up |
| Alcohol | Beer (pizza-beer or burger-beer combos) | 7,000 KRW and up |
Americano starts at 6,000 KRW — not exactly cheap compared to typical large cafes, but the menu variety is genuinely overwhelming.

Signature Menu — Dirty Black Latte & White Berry Cream Yogurt
Two signature picks — rich, "artery-busting" visuals
Dirty Black Latte (KRW 8,000) — I thought it just had black sesame powder dusted on top, but the inside is also packed with black sesame cream. One sip in, it tastes amazing — but you'll instantly think, "wow, this is artery-busting good." A seriously rich latte.
White Berry Cream Yogurt (KRW 12,000) — the visual is no joke. When I stabbed the cheesecake with a fork, the blueberries fall in a shower fall down. Super sweet — the kind of "ah, THAT's why they call it Dirty" flavor.

There are lots of cake types too, but seeing them all together, the colors felt a bit artificial, so they didn't really appeal to me. With such a wide variety of breads, I'd recommend going for pastries, salt bread, or cream buns instead.
Beer + Mirror Photo Zone — Perfect for Pizza-Beer or Burger-Beer
What I really loved was that they also serve beer. Since it was daytime, almost no one was drinking, but it looked perfect for casual pizza + beer or burger + beer combos.
Next to the beer area there's a full-length mirror photo zone. The mirror is long and the surroundings are clean — a perfect spot for photos.

Facilities Honest Review — A Bit Disappointing for Young Babies
The restroom is on the 1st floor and feminine hygiene products are provided for freetoo. There are some downsides though. There is no nursing room and no elevator. The only staircase up to the 2nd floor is steeper than expected, and with lots of people around you have to climb carefully.
Disappointing Points When Bringing Young Babies
- No nursing room
- No elevator (steep stairs to 2F)
- No baby high chair — we rotated our baby across 7 adult laps for an hour. Highly recommend bringing a hip seat carrier
Strollers and wheelchairs won't have easy mobility — keep that in mind. That said, for family, friends, and large group gatherings, it's genuinely fantastic.

Nighttime Vibe — Neon Signs Meet Plants
Visiting around sunset has its own charm. “You did well today, Now, let’s get dirty with Dirty Trunk” When the neon signs light up, the combo of plants + warm yellow lighting + neon creates a really lovely atmosphere. The outdoor signage has a vintage mood too — there are tons of photo spots everywhere.

Wrap-up — A Paju Large Cafe Perfect for Family and Group Gatherings
A bit underwhelming for visits with young babies(No nursing room, no elevator, no baby chair), but Truly excellent for family, friends, and large group gatherings. Cafe, brunch, bakery, and meals are all handled in one stop, and the plant + warm yellow lighting vibe is cozy enough to stay a long time.
The 600M KRW monthly revenue reputation isn't for nothing. If you're hunting for a family gathering spot in the Paju or Gimpo area, Dirty Trunkis my recommendation. Definitely try the signature Dirty Black Latte and White Berry Cream Yogurt at least once — just brace yourself for the "artery-busting" richness.
