Three reasons to visit Haerang Observatory

1. Dokkaebi-club-shaped skywalk

Haerang Observatory's biggest signature is the design that reveals itself from above — a dokkaebi-club shape . 'Dojaebi' is the Gangwon dialect for 'dokkaebi' (Korean goblin), and the design echoes the local Dojaebigol legend. Look down from the Sky Valley and the dokkaebi-club outline really does click into place.

2. Emerald East Sea + dark cliffs

Walk the Haerang Observatory deck and beneath your feet you'll see dark volcanic rocksand emerald wavescrashing against them in striking contrast. It photographs like a painting — in person, it's even more powerful.

3. The colorful 'Haerang' letter sculpture — top of the photo list

Right at the entrance there's a big "Haerang" letter sculpture. The colorful letters + the blue East Sea + the Dojaebigol skywalk all fit in one frame, making this the most popular photo spot on a Mukho trip. The classic shot is sitting inside the empty space of the letters.
