Parking — no on-site lot

Geodong Tangsuyukhas no dedicated lot, so you'll park at the public lots across the street. The Mukho Port / Ilchul-ro area has plenty of room, so finding a spot is usually fine.

Mukho Port public lot: Closest to the restaurant — your main parking option
Mukho Waterfront Park public lot: Similar walking distance — handy backup on busy weekends

Open-run queue + the CatchTable system

Even on weekdays, expect 10+ parties ahead of you

Even arriving early on a weekday, there were already 10 parties ahead of us. Weekends run longer. If you want a relaxed meal, the open-run queueis practically a must.

How to wait — in-person CatchTable sign-up only

When you arrive, CatchTable number registration → menu selection → KakaoTalk notification → enter when called. You have 5 minutes to come inside once they call you, so don't wander too far — stay nearby. Remote sign-ups aren't allowed— you have to be at the restaurant in person to register. Worth knowing.

💡 TIP: You order your menu at sign-up, so decide what you want before you arrive. On weekends and holidays, you can't add more food once seated, so order generously the first time.

Menu · Prices — a simple, focused lineup

There are two tangsuyuk options, with jjajang or jjamppong on the side. Small menu on purpose — and easier to navigate because of it.

Menu Price Description
Geodong Tangsuyuk Market price Signature pork + octopus combo
Real Octopus Tangsuyuk 29,000 KRW Signature — fried with 100% octopus, no pork
Half-and-half sauce option +1,000 KRW Sweet original + Chinese-style spicy
Geodong Octopus Jeongban Jjajang (serves 2) 26,000 KRW Loaded with whole octopus and squid, gently spicy
Geodong Tangsuyuk takeout box — Mukho flagship character design

Tasting notes — is it actually good?

We waited just over an hour and got seated around 12:20 PM. Because you order at sign-up, both dishes hit the table about 7 minutes after we sat down. The kitchen is seriously fast.

Real Octopus Tangsuyuk — the appeal of 100% octopus

We went with the half-and-half sauce poured over the top. The batter is thin and crispy, so it stayed crunchy even after sitting out. My biggest worry — chewy octopus — turned out to be a non-issue. Plump octopus pieces — crispy outside, tender and chewy inside. The cook is dialed in. Think 'fried squid done really well' as a baseline — except this is the upgraded version. It practically calls for a cold beer.

💎 Key Points:
The original sauce is clean and sweet; the Chinese-style spicy version has a gentle heat. Sticking to just one can get one-note by the end, so go half-and-half. Even more so if you're a spice fan.

Geodong Octopus Jeongban Jjajang — for the jjajang crowd

When everyone else is ordering jjamppong, picking jjajang takes a little courage. No regrets here. Whole octopus + squid + onionsare piled on generously, and the squid in particular is unbelievably tender. The glossy jjajang is mildly spicy with just enough sweetness — comforting and plain good. Pair a piece of whole octopus with a bite and the dish levels up instantly.

💡 TIP: For two hungry eaters, Real Octopus Tangsuyuk + Octopus Jeongban Jjajang is the right amount — clean plates, not too much, not too little.

Verdict — is it worth it?

Where else in Mukho are you going to find a 100% octopus combo? That's the real draw. The flavors land in expected territory, but the unusual combination + fresh ingredients + solid frying technique earn it a spot on your Mukho itinerary. The line is long, but the payoff is real.
