The moment you step in, warm wood-tone interiors and soft lighting calm you down, and the hanok rooftops outside the big windows really do look like a painting. The wide spacing between tables is a real plus — you can actually focus on your food without picking up the next conversation over.

The space is generous, and solo diners blend in naturally — easy to recommend for Anguk solo brunch. Just note: it's a popular spot, so peak hours (12 PM–2 PM) can get a wait. Going slightly before or after the rush gets you a much more relaxed experience.

Step inside and the first thing you notice is the thick wooden columns and the ceiling that echoes the hanok structure. Chairs and tables are in matching wood tones, and the window seats catch enough natural light to make any photo work.

Up at the counter, Dot Blanket character merchis on display — the Snoopy-esque puppy is the cafe's signature character. The order buzzer they hand you is clean and minimal too.

Brunch kicks off with Today's Soup. The day we went it was corn soup — sweet and nutty, wakes the palate from the very first spoon. The warm bread on the side is crisp outside, soft inside, perfect for dipping, and the portion is generous enough to enjoy on its own. A great pick to warm up on a cold day or ease into a bigger meal.

Avocado Pasta Salad — the signature

The main was, of course, the Avocado Pasta Salad. The visual alone — a heaping plate of fresh greens topped with plump grilled shrimp, creamy avocado, and chewy pasta — draws an audible "wow." Whether you go veg + pasta + shrimp + avocado or any other combination, it all works, and the portion easily holds up as a full meal.
