\n Dumulmeori<\/b><\/span>is a riverside attraction in Yangsu-ri, Yangseo-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do. the confluence where the North and South Han Rivers meet in one place and flow on as a single Han River<\/b>, so it long thrived as a ferry dock. Today it is a strolling spot that keeps the old ferry mood and a beloved signature-shot photo zone representing Yangpyeong. On site, Dumulmeori is a UN Tourism Best Tourism Village<\/b>, marked by a sculpture announcing the designation \u2014 making it clear at a glance that this place is recognized by travelers at home and abroad.\n<\/p>\n

Right next to it, Semiwon<\/b>is a garden famous for lotus, so in the July\u2013August lotus season, pairing it with Dumulmeori is a popular course. During my visit, a banner for the Gyeonggi Jeongmyeong Culture Festival<\/b> hung over the ‘Semiwon-Dumulmeori’ area, making me think it would be lovely to return during the autumn festival season.\n<\/p>\n

\n Besides the picture-frame spot, Dumulmeori has many prop zones great for photos. A white birdcage-shaped gate photo spot<\/b>, a fairytale-like space decorated with yellow chairs and rabbit objects, and more \u2014 backgrounds perfect for posting on social media keep coming. It would be a shame to only shoot the river view; it was great to wander slowly and add more shots.\n<\/p>\n

\n On the path from the parking lot into the photo zones, a snack street of stalls including lotus-shaped ‘lotus hot dogs’<\/b>has formed. The stalls blend with flower pots in full bloom for a homey feel, and it’s nice to grab a snack while strolling when you get peckish. Prices and operations vary by stall and season, so check on site.\n<\/p>\n

My honest review<\/h2>\n

\n I went at midday in June, and thanks to the river breeze it was nicer to walk than expected. The picture-frame spot did have a line, but it moved fast so I didn’t wait long. a scene that captures water, mountains, tree and sailing boat in one frame<\/b>made me immediately understand why it’s a regular filming location for dramas and commercials. It isn’t a place with fancy facilities, but being able to find such a riverside view just an hour from Seoul is Dumulmeori’s greatest charm.\n<\/p>\n
