Hi everyone, this is Hayley. Today I visited the most famous cafe in the Gimpo and Paju area \u2014 Dirty Trunk<\/strong>. We went there to celebrate the New Year with my in-laws and decided to stop by together. The cafe is famously known for pulling in a whopping 600 million KRW in monthly revenue<\/strong>, so I was really excited even before going.<\/p>\n

An honest review of Dirty Trunk \u2014 Paju large cafe with high ceilings, three round windows, plant-filled interior, perfect for family and large group gatherings \u2014 menu, prices, signature drinks, and amenities<\/strong>\u2014 all wrapped up in one post.<\/p>\n

Store Introduction \u2014 Paju Plant Cafe with Cozy Yellow Lighting<\/h2>\n

Dirty Trunk has a really striking soaring ceiling and three round windows<\/strong>atmosphere. Lush green plants are everywhere, and combined with the warm yellow lighting, it feels cozy and comforting<\/strong>. There are so many green plants that you could honestly call it a plant cafe.<\/p>\n

The 1st floor is fairly quiet, while most people are on the 2nd floor. Seating is spacious and accommodates large groups<\/strong>, so it's a great spot to come with family. There are plenty of seating areas that can easily fit 10 people.<\/p>\n

At Dirty Trunk you can get coffee, brunch, bakery, and full meals \u2014 all in one place<\/strong>. Burgers, spaghetti, pizza, sandwiches, tacos, salads, stews \u2014 you can handle everything here. They also serve plenty of indulgent (calorie-bomb) drinks alongside regular coffees, and the bakery selection is huge: pastries, cream buns, salt bread, sausage bread, cakes.<\/p>\n

Americano starts at 6,000 KRW \u2014 not exactly cheap compared to typical large cafes, but the menu variety is genuinely overwhelming<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Two signature picks \u2014 rich, \"artery-busting\" visuals<\/p>\n

Dirty Black Latte (KRW 8,000)<\/strong> \u2014 I thought it just had black sesame powder dusted on top, but the inside is also packed with black sesame cream<\/strong>. One sip in, it tastes amazing \u2014 but you'll instantly think, \"wow, this is artery-busting good.\" A seriously rich latte.<\/p>\n

White Berry Cream Yogurt (KRW 12,000)<\/strong> \u2014 the visual is no joke. When I stabbed the cheesecake with a fork, the blueberries fall in a shower<\/strong> fall down. Super sweet \u2014 the kind of \"ah, THAT's why they call it Dirty\" flavor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

There are lots of cake types too, but seeing them all together, the colors felt a bit artificial<\/strong>, so they didn't really appeal to me. With such a wide variety of breads, I'd recommend going for pastries, salt bread, or cream buns instead.<\/p>\n

Beer + Mirror Photo Zone \u2014 Perfect for Pizza-Beer or Burger-Beer<\/h2>\n

What I really loved was that they also serve beer<\/strong>. Since it was daytime, almost no one was drinking, but it looked perfect for casual pizza + beer or burger + beer combos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Next to the beer area there's a full-length mirror photo zone<\/strong>. The mirror is long and the surroundings are clean \u2014 a perfect spot for photos.<\/p>\n

Facilities Honest Review \u2014 A Bit Disappointing for Young Babies<\/h2>\n

The restroom is on the 1st floor and feminine hygiene products are provided for free<\/strong>too. There are some downsides though. There is no nursing room and no elevator.<\/strong> The only staircase up to the 2nd floor is steeper than expected, and with lots of people around you have to climb carefully.<\/p>\n
